GMP Accident Management offers a fully comprehensive accident management package for all lease car and Salary Sacrifice drivers. In the unfortunate situation of you being involved in an accident you simply need to follow this step-by-step guide to the services that GMP Accident Management offer.

Report the accident to GMP Accident Management (within 24 hours wherever possible)by one of the following methods:

1 – Completing form and returning an accident report form via email to accidentmanagement@gmpdrivercare.co.uk or via post to GMP Accident Management, Jupiter House, Drummond Road, Astonfields, Stafford, ST16 3HJ

2 – Telephone 0330 100 4910 – Option 1 where one of our team will complete a report form with you.

One of our accident management coordinators will review the file and determine the best course of for the claim action under the circumstances.
Please remember – If an accident involves a third party, ensure that full details are taken to include; name, address, telephone number and a policy number (if possible).

NOT ROADWORTHY

If your car is not safe to drive we will arrange for it to be collected and taken to our nominated repairer who will arrange the provision of a courtesy vehicle* whilst yours is in for repair.
If a courtesy vehicle is not available then GMP can arrange a hire car at a cost to you.

ROADWORTHY

If your car is safe to drive then you can continue to drive the vehicle until it is booked in for repairs.
Our nominated repairer will arrange the provision of a courtesy vehicle* whilst yours is in for repair.

NON FAULT
If the accident is not your fault we will contact the other drivers’ insurer, confirm liability, arrange for repairs and a replacement courtesy vehicle* through one of our nominated repairers.

FAULT
If the accident is your fault or nobody else was involved we will contact your employers insurer, arrange for repairs and the provision of a replacement courtesy vehicle* through one of our nominated repairers.

BOTH AT FAULT OR UNKNOWN THIRD PARTY
If you are partly to blame or you don’t have the other driver’s details we will contact your employers insurer, arrange for repairs and the provision of a replacement courtesy vehicle* through one of our nominated repairers.

In case of Fault and Both at Fault or Unknown Third Party

An insurance excess will be payable via your salary after the completion of repairs*.
*Dependant on your employers policy, please refer to your lease car scheme policy document.

Z

In Case of Non-Fault

All costs for damages will be recovered directly from the liable driver’s insurer.
In the event of disputed liability or a 90 day non acceptance of liability by the third party insurer then it may be necessary to effect a repair via your employers fleet insurance policy. If this becomes the route of the claim, you will be liable for the excess in the first instance. If and when liability is accepted by the third party insurer, your excess will be refunded back to your trust and who will arrange a full refund to you as the driver.
